Dating Advice: Honesty is the best Policy

Have you ever heard this? It is true online too.

Many people fear that the other person is not being honest. This happens far less than most people assume but I am sure it does happen every now and then. None of our contributors has been lied to or sent a fake picture of someone that ended up wanting to meet them.

I think the most important thing here is that you make sure you are honest as you can be. What is the point of lieing to somone if you have intentions of meeting that person later on? Why screw up a potential future date by starting out the conversation with lies? If you have a picture, send it, don't send someone elses and don't send some picture you downloaded online, no one is going to believe you are Britney Spears or Brad Pitt.

If someone does lie to you, report them to the personals service you are using. There is no excuse for having to put up with it. But again, please don't let this scare you off. We have yet to encounter anyone that has actually received a fake picture. If the person is honestly looking to meet people, it is in their best interest to be honest with you.
